Knowing Christ and Making Christ Known

Women's Ministries

United Methodist Women

The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Who is a member of United Methodist Women? Who belongs? Women of the United Methodist Church are not automatically members of United Methodist Women, though all are welcome and encouraged to join. Membership is for those women who wish to organize for mission by participation in the organization through giving, prayer, study, action and/or service.

Our unit has two Circles which meet monthly. We also have Members-at-large who do not get together at a regular monthly meeting, but do support the United Methodist Women through pledges, prayers, study, action and by serving on various committees and projects.
